Drop-in Clinics

From Monday 10 March our morning emergency clinics will run on a “drop-in” basis. This is to a large extent how they have been working to date but we are hoping that this will reduce the load on the reception staff having to make appointments for these clinics if more patients just drop-in without phoning in advance. These remain urgent clinics and are not for chronic or longstanding issues as these need a longer appointment to manage adequately. They will run on a first come, first served basis.

Drop-in clinics will run 8  to 9:30  each morning and again on a Friday afternoon from 4:30 – 5:30 for people that need to be seen before the weekend.

email repeat prescriptions now available

We have completed testing of the email script request system and it is now up and running with the first scripts due to be available on Tuesday 25 February. This will hopefully simplify things and be more convenient. The $2 charge for faxing scripts to the pharmacy has been removed in the hope that this will reduce the need to come in to collect scripts and free up some staff time to deal with other requests more promptly. This service is only for non-urgent repeat prescriptions for enrolled patients stabilised on medications for chronic conditions. See the Prescription page for more details and the contact form.

Easier Parking!

You may have noticed the work progressing with sealing in front of 106 Onslow Street. This is now complete and yesterday all the new parking bays were marked out. This has significantly increased the parking space available with additional disabled parks and a walkway in front of the cars to increase ease of access to the surgery.
